As a licensed masters level clinical social worker with several years experience, I have developed a balanced relationship driven and creative approach to working with various populations of individuals and families. I have extensive experience working with children, families, and adults with various concerns including mood disorders, eating disorders, and dual diagnosis. I assist individuals in identifying their goals and help them work towards achieving those goals with intentional evidence based techniques including dialectical and cognitive behavioral therapy. In addition, I am especially interested in expressive arts (including play and art therapy) and mindfulness techniques. I am extremely passionate about the clients that I work with and I tailor my sessions to meet each individual's needs in a unique, client-centered way. When working with diverse individuals, I integrate expressive, DBT, CBT, and mindfulness techniques to express feelings and thoughts and develop coping skills. My clinical experience as social worker over the last several years has been an amazing journey. I have gained strengths and learned skills from each client that I feel have truly made me a well -rounded clinician. I look forward to having many more opportunities to help diverse populations.
