We live in a very fast-paced, stressful world today. We are constantly on information overload, with modern-day electronics and technology bringing us world news and events in real time. Working, raising a family, maintaining healthy relationships, while caring for ourselves can be a huge challenge. My philosophy emphasizes the importance of bringing balance into your life. Balance is crucial for feeling content, less stressed and peaceful. I believe most people just need to feel someone is listening to them. Compassionate communication in a non-judgmental setting is the key to healing. My work currently focuses on depression, mood disorders, marital/relationship difficulties and closed head injuries. I have worked with traumatic brain injured patients and their families for over 25 years. I trained with a group of six psychiatrists and, as a result, through their mentoring, I have a solid blend of medical and psychological understanding. I offer a warm, comfortable and private setting. I do not have a receptionist, so I will greet you personally, help with any paperwork and believe you will find the office relaxing and conducive to talking freely.
