I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a humanistic approach, which means that I deeply value the possibility and uniqueness of every individual. I am passionate about helping others, and do my best to be a resource for anyone who comes to see me. I believe that healing begins with unconditional positive regard, and so I invite clients to share their unique experience(s), in an environment without judgment and without criticism. From this place, I believe each person can begin to make personal shifts toward becoming their most authentic self. I can help people resolve inner conflicts, increase their awareness around personal core issues in life, understand themselves better, and learn to tolerate uncomfortable feelings with less anxiety. Other areas include: Trauma, Abuse, Self-compassionate mindfulness, LGBTQ advocacy, ADHD in all ages, Social Anxiety, Depression, Grief/Loss, Emotional Overeating, Codependency, and Life Transitions. I am EMDR trained. In addition to my other qualifications, I have expertise in issues of gender variant children, and non-binary gender identity. At the end of the first session, people often say "I didn't know what I would talk about here. I said a lot more than I thought I would."
