For 17 years, my career as a Licensed, Registered and Board Certified Art Therapist has honored me the experience of supporting and treating individuals that have suffered immense trauma and it's consequences. Through creativity one may 'speak the unspeakable' and transform pain into wisdom. It is true, ART SAVES LIVES. Whether one struggles with addiction, fear, self-destruction, negative emotions or deep loss, my approach to healing offers one to safely explore and practice healthier, more self-compassionate ways of living. As professionally educated and trained, I am one of only a few Licensed, Registered & Board Certified Art Therapists privately practicing in the Midwest. By offering the additional opportunity to use art as self-expression, clients may further understand and relate to their inner world through the healing act of creating. Having lived in Chicago and NYC for the past 20 years, I have had the unique opportunity to gain vast clinical exposure from an array of experiences. In addition to being an Art Therapist, I offer instruction into Mindfulness living and meditation as well as diagnostic support for those on the Spectrum!
