There is no charge for your first session so you can confirm I am a caring and effective counselor. My previous career as an automotive engineer also provided knowledge of what it is like to work for a large corporation, the stresses and anxieties such a setting can create. Although I am effective working with both women and men, my experience as an engineer, working almost exclusively with men for many years, provides unique insight into men's needs and styles of communication. Couples' issues are often linked with incompatibility of one individual's work demands and the other individual's family and home demands. In addition to working with couples, I also counsel individuals and families. An important goal is to help clients resolve their concerns in a time frame that best suits them. For those without insurance, I work with clients to establish a fee that best suits them. In the state of Michigan, new graduates pursuing a limited license (LLPC) must be supervised by a fully licensed counselor (LPC) who has been trained in Counselor Supervision.
