My clients have gone through so many changes that they wonder who they are. They think something is wrong with them because they don't feel like they "have their act together." Several clients feel guilty because they have many things that they want -- like healthy families and steady work -- but it feels flat or overwhelming. They want a sense of purpose and clarity because they know that purpose and clarity lead to greater satisfaction and happiness. They want support in living this knowledge every day. That's where coaching comes in. I work with clients on long-term and immediate ways for more satisfaction and focus. For some people this means chasing down a long-deferred dream or letting go of one. For many, it is slowing down to see things they already have but simply aren't recognizing. I coach clients from a point of abundance rather than lack. This means we grow what they already have. I ask them to shine a spotlight on the joy that's already in their lives, even in tough times. Some people have never experienced this freeing shift in perspective.
