When the challenges of life begin to feel overwhelming, it is time to get the support of someone who is able to assist you in finding a way to appreciate life again. When supporting individuals and families I draw on both my training as a therapist and my rich experience of over 20 years working with children, teens, couples and families as a licensed parent educator. I have an admiration for those who have the courage to seek the assistance that can be found in therapy when the uncertainty that life brings becomes difficult to manage. I have extensive training and years of experience working with those moving through marital changes, parents with children managing intense emotions/behaviors, people experiencing difficulty with stage of life transitions and families navigating the complexity of step-family dynamics. I have successfully worked with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety and low self-confidence. Training in play therapy enhances my work with children and families. I specialize in creating a safe space for all clients to do the personal exploration that I believe is necessary for reflection and change.
