Having a solid, trusting relationship with your therapist is key, and I take great pleasure and pride in forming these connections with my clients. Whether you are dealing with a major traumatic event, or just need an objective outsider to help you "see the forest through the trees", I am happy to support you! I am consistent but flexible with my clients, and hold sessions on Saturdays as well as weekdays. I work with individuals of all ages, including children, as well as couples and families. Depression, anxiety, trauma, and difficult life changes seem to be the key issues that come up in the therapy office. I especially enjoy working with women and their partners around reproduction, pregnancy, and parenting. My approach is strength-based, and focuses on individual assets and resilience. I love helping clients connect with their own inner resources. I utilize a very cognitive behavioral style, in order to aid clients understand their thinking, and make lasting change.
