Have a unique understanding of the mental health field by working in various roles for approximately 20+ years providing treatment and assistance. Experience worked with adults and adolescents in addictions, mental health, and dual diagnosis issues. Clients have included veterans, community MH clients, and at-risk youths. Clients typically demonstrate personal pain manifesting with symptoms of anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, and/or detrimental self-medicating behaviors. I assist clients where they are and focus on rational-thinking strategies to relieve their personal pain. Find that humane, spiritual considerations are helpful to reinforce treatment concepts for growth and peace of mind. My treatment strategy consists of a comprehensive, intensive group treatment program and/or individual therapy sessions (one-on-one). Family and couples therapy focus on interpersonal dynamics.. I prefer objective reasoning- rather than emotions, as they frequently sabotage client's best interests. Therapies are generally endorsed as beneficial and effective. Prefer a spiritual approach to therapy that includes traditional, conservative principled behavioral goals that will allow for a stable, meaningful life.
