I have been working in the field of mental health since 1995. My scope of practice includes working primarily with adults and their families, focusing on the individual as well as the family system. I have experience working in the areas of higher education, community outreach, crisis intervention, private practice and in the inpatient hospital setting. My focus is on changing maladaptive patterns of thought so that one can achieve optimal mental health. I am certified in Rational Living Therapy and utilize Rogerian as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques. My goal for clients working with me is to improve their quality of life and to obtain an overall better sense of well-being and happiness.
