I am a clinical psychologist in private practice in Miami. I enjoy working with adolescents, adults and couples in transition. Individuals seeking therapy should feel that they "click" with their therapist and that they have established a connection. The therapeutic alliance is one of the most important factors in a successful therapy outcome. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety including generalized anxiety, panic, and obsessive compulsive disorders. I use several techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, schema therapy and some principles from dialectical behavioral therapy. I also specialize in couples therapy and use the Gottman method. I recommend different reading material and questionnaires to enhance the therapeutic process. I am fluent in English and Spanish and have a diverse practice working with individuals from different cultures and from the GLBT community.
