In my clinical work, I emphasize a warm and collaborative environment that will give you the support to make positive changes in your life. I hold a specific interest in working with individuals that have experienced trauma in their lives. This trauma-focused work encompasses all ages, including preschool children. The practice also includes a female colleague that specializes in working with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. Working through traumatic experiences can be difficult. I believe my specialized training and clinical experience allows me to help clients on their path toward healing. My colleague has extensive training and experience working with children diagnosed with autism related disorders. Her behavioral approach provides these children with the necessary support and intervention. Treatment approaches utilize a cognitive behavioral and play therapy approach. My training as a Clinical Psychologist enables me to conduct comprehensive Psychological Evaluations. I use traditional office space as well as a separate therapeutic play room, equipped with a one way mirror, allowing for parent-child observation as well as parental coaching.
