As a licensed marriage and family therapist specializing in sex therapy, I am a nurturing, goal-oriented therapist who focuses on developing open communication in a safe, caring environment. I believe that promoting a compassionate relationship with clients helps people identify the reality of their situation and find the means to solve their problems. With a Ph.D. in clinical sexology, I offer psychotherapy and relationship coaching to help both individuals and couples enhance their sexual function, pleasure, and knowledge of human sexuality. I am a board-certified clinical sexologist with the American Association of Sexuality Educators Counselors & Therapists (AASECT). I conduct my practice in a supportive atmosphere in which clients can talk about their sexual, emotional and relationship issues with a trained professional. I utilize a solution-focused, skills-based approach to help clients address concerns. I promote a compassionate relationship with clients which fosters self-awareness and healing. My practice is open and affirming to all people regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, ability, socio-economic status, religious or political beliefs, and/or alternative forms of sexual expression and lifestyle.
