Do you feel like you've gotten lost on your journey towards a fulfilling, meaningful life? When providing counseling, I believe my role is to walk beside my clients as they navigate life's obstacles, providing guidance and reassurance as they make their way along their own path. I firmly believe that counseling has the power to be a life-changing experience, and I approach each client with a desire to work with them as they seek to discover a more balanced and meaningful way of living. I currently provide counseling services in the communities of Brentwood and Franklin, TN. My scope of practice includes individual counseling for adolescents and adults. I have worked in both non-profit and for-profit settings in inpatient psychiatric care, community mental health, and residential drug and alcohol treatment. I have completed specialized training in EMDR (Levels I and II) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also incorporate 12-step recovery when working with individuals struggling with addiction. I specialize in substance abuse and addiction/recovery, trauma/PTSD, depression, anxiety/panic attacks, anger, and work/life balance.
