I offer holistic psychiatric care, with an emphasis on psychotherapy in the contemporary psychodynamic tradition. If you are dealing with some form of anxiety or depression, if you are frustrated with distressing and recurrent life patterns, my practice might be a good fit with you. I've worked with problems with school, work, and relationships, complex emotional problems and conflicts, past traumas and identity issues. Through new forms of relating, old forms of suffering can abate, and in some cases, heal. I have a depth of experience with college students, as I work part-time at Reed College. I have been on faculty at OHSU for several years, teaching courses in psychotherapy and supervising trainees.
