I'm familiar with suffering and believe the cessation of suffering is attainable. Whether you struggle with emotional distress or are interested in personal growth, using evidence-based practices, I will guide you on a path of problem exploration and assist you in eliciting your own solutions and overcoming fears that have held you back.I look forward to guiding you on a journey of recovery. My specialties include Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, anxiety disorders, veteran's issues, perinatal and postnatal mood and anxiety disorders, addictions,eating disorders, relationship difficulties, trauma, Borderline Personality Disorder, distance counseling (therapy using video conferencing, tele-mental health), and group therapy for co-occurring disorders. Using empirical-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Relapse Prevention, and Exposure and Response Prevention, I guide clients on the exploration of thoughts, beliefs, feelings, and behaviors that facilitate the development of greater insight and effective coping strategies needed to maximize functioning and minimize symptoms.
