*Only accepting new patients at Mary Mahoney Location* I primarily serve adults and specialize in working with women, trauma survivors, and individuals with mental health, addiction, personality and eating disorders. I treat clinical issues ranging from difficulty coping with life's stressors, personal growth issues, grief and loss, spiritual conflicts and behavioral problems to more chronic mental health, substance abuse and personality disorders. Although the diagnoses vary, all of my clients are looking for support, validation and help making changes in their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Because you invest a good deal of time and energy into therapy, you should choose a therapist carefully. I believe you should feel comfortable with the therapist you choose and hopeful about the outcome of therapy. When you feel this way, therapy is more likely to be helpful to you. I approach therapy as not only therapeutic in nature but educational as well. Learning to recognize patterns and the underlying reasons why we engage in the behaviors we do clears the path for us to make informed decisions that foster positive growth, benefiting both ourselves and our relationships with others.
