Through family and individual therapy, I help families with any age children find ways to have more peace, enjoyment, and mutual understanding. I most enjoy helping parents concerned about their child's or teen's challenging behaviors for which traditional parenting practices have not worked in the past. If your child has recently experienced very challenging or unsafe behaviors, I can help you bring safety and balance to your home. The ideal client family would be one that has had exposure to or experience with the Collaborative Problem Solving approach and now needs more help implementing it in their homes. As a clinician certified in Collaborative Problem Solving, I can help families gain a new perspective on their children's struggles which helps bring more compassion and relief from the challenges happening in the home. I have experience helping parents help their children with DD, ADHD, anxiety, PTSD, and depression. I firmly believe that all people, young and old, do well if they can. My job is to help parents build skills while helping their children build the skills needed to do well in their world. I can provide individual therapy for children/adolescents and parents as appropriate and needed.
