I am a psychotherapist who assists clients, couples and/or families heal and grow through the use of many resources and modalities: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Imago Relationship Counseling, Reality/Responsibility Parenting and a multidisciplinary approach to anxiety, depression and eating disorders. I know that people have the ability to live better, more productive, and happier lives. I help clients focus on the confusing messages received or created in childhood, through the media and from society. As you begin to discover your truths and what you value; you will release anxiety, heal form debilitating depression and build healthier, and stronger relationships. Through Cognitive Behavioral therapy and a variety of other modalities I seek to alter habitual maladaptive thought patterns. Unrealistic expectations, wishful thinking, living in the past (or future) and over generalizing that can often lead to disappointment and frustration. Psychotherapy emphasizes a rational and positive world view. I am fully bilingual in English and Spanish. I am a proactive therapist and approach issues delicately and directly. Our offfice is private and serene. I recognize that individuals benefit from a variety of techniques. I am flexible and adaptive and avoid forcing treatment into one size fits all limitations.
