My ideal clients are those who identify as LGBT+ or those who seek to better understand and support an LGBT+ loved one. I am especially suited to working with LGB adolescents and their parents and with transgender clients/families of any age. I operate from a systems perspective and believe that familial support is key to the mental health and well-being of any LGBT+ individual but especially so in the case of adolescents.I am comfortable addressing religion-based questions and concerns. I am available for individual,family, and group counseling as well as for community education. I have been studying the unique needs of the LGBT+ population since 2011 and have provided mental health counseling to homeless and otherwise at-risk LGBT+ youth and their families since 2013. Additionally, I have developed and continue to lead a psycho-educational support group for parents of transgender youth. In the interest of making myself available to as many LGBT+ clients as possible, I operate a practice without walls. This allows me some flexibility in terms of where I meet clients, enabling me to expand my geographic area of coverage well beyond my home base.
