Rachel Metheny is board certified in general/adult psychiatry as well as child and adolescent psychiatry who has trained and worked in a variety of clinical settings. After graduating in high standing from an accelerated combined undergraduate/graduate school at the University of Missouri, Dr. Metheny completed her internship, residency and fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. While there, she was promoted to Chief Physician. Dr. Metheny was selected to the Executive Committee of the regional American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Organization and also served as the quality improvement chair while at Washington University. Dr. Metheny is passionate about providing comprehensive treatment. She recognizes the power of psychotherapy and provides each patient with many options for treatment. She has worked with patients of all ages as well as in specialized clinics for autism, mood disorders, ADHD and eating disorders. Dr. Metheny wants to focus her time on providing you with the best possible care. In order to do this, her office collects a fee for the service instead of running the payment through insurance. The office can provide you with the paperwork to submit your claim for insurance reimbursement.
