It is my passion to empower women, men and young adults who may be experiencing distress, or simply searching for support and personal growth. My holistic approach focuses on creating a safe empathic space for my clients by acknowledging their life experiences, exploring and validating emotions, and empowering them via choices. I specialize in working with grief/loss, sexual trauma, domestic abuse, depression, anxiety, and other life changing experiences resulting in individual distress, disempowerment, and struggle. I use classic psychodynamic therapy to explore the subconscious mind and unfold self-limiting beliefs, which may be hindering individual progress and personal relationships. I have worked extensively with college students and have expertise in helping people with diverse ethnic and cultural identities. I understand that sometimes the intersection of our unique identities such as our ethnicity, culture, religion, class, gender, and sexual orientation, can leave us feeling disempowered.
