I believe in creating and maintaining a safe and supportive environment in which my clients have the opportunity to explore their histories and experiences, develop self awareness, achieve greater insight, and develop strengths. My treatment approach is both creative and flexible. I tailor my approach to each client's unique needs. I treat adults for any of the following issues: Parenting, Marriage and Relationships, Communication, Stress, Anxiety, Depression, Grief, and Bereavement. Building on my years as an educator, I treat both teens and children. Transgenders and their related life issues are my specialty. I treat transgender teens and adults. I also host a transgender support group that meets the first Thursday evening of each month at 7:30 PM and has done so for over ten years. Traditional therapy and hypnosis are both available to achieve life-style changes and health goals. My charge for the initial hypnosis session is $150 which includes a 1 1/2 hour interview and a take-home CD for reinforcement. Additional sessions on the same issue are $100 per hour.
