If you are facing challenges in life that are holding you back, feel overwhelming, or are affecting your psychological well-being, call me. A major part of my therapy with individuals provides short term therapy that gets results. You may feel stuck, it may be difficult to get through the day, or you may hit a rough patch in life. Whether you struggle with addiction, anxiety and worry, traumatic memoires, relationships, or just need some professional direction. As a therapist with training for afflictions of the mind, body, and spirit, we can find the tools to help you make positive changes and find some relief. My areas of specialty include addiction, traumas, crisis intervention, anxiety and depression, bipolar disorder, bereavement, relationships, post traumatic stress, and distressing transitions of life. I am a nationally recognized certified Clinical Interventionist for addictions and also work with people in recovery. I am trained in EMDR for trauma and Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples. As a Licensed Professional Counselor in CT and NY, I am trained in the treatment of trauma and traumatic stress. I am an embedded clinician for the National Guard Infantry and work with veterans and military families. As a graduate of seminary, I also offer faith based counseling and a focus on spirituality when requested.
