I have been in private practice for 36 years, initially trained as a child and family therapist. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I work with adults, couples and families. A healthy spiritual life is often an important factor in psychological well-being, and my practice is oriented to include spiritual perspectives in the treatment process, if the client is so oriented. In addition, I have been trained in EFT, Emotional Freedom Techniques, or Tapping. EFT is a unique and powerful system of healing emotional patterns that are related to trauma, addiction, acute and chronic illness, anxiety and depression, relationship issues, creative blocks and self-esteem issues. I have also created the Self-Awareness Healing and Training Method. This is a unique blend of techniques from a variety of the world's wisdom traditions, along with methods from a number healing modalities from contemporary psychology, energy medicine and neuroscience, used with individuals and in group settings.
