Addiction, Trauma, and Behavioral Health Located in Arkansas and founded in 2001, Capstone Treatment Center is a Christ-centered residential treatment center for young men (ages 14-24) struggling with addictions, trauma, behavioral health, and other issues. Our clients come from all over the United States and find a safe, professional environment at Capstone to begin their recovery. Capstone partners with families in the recovery journey so that their sons can grow into successful young men with quality relationships and fulfilling lives. We also offer intensive therapy workshops and outpatient therapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups. If you or a loved one would like more information about Capstone Treatment Center, please call Chris today at 866-729-4479 for a free phone consultation or email [email protected]. Highly Specialized Professional Therapy Our therapy staff all complete specialized training to become credentialed as CSAT (Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist), EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and CTT (Certified Trauma Therapist). This combined with our Core Model Therapy approach, Canine Therapy, Exercise Program, Adventure Therapy, and 12 Steps Integration make us national leaders in our field. Each of our clients receive 3-6 hours of individual therapy and 10-20 hours of group therapy every week. We also have a week long family therapy intensive, which includes 35-40 hours of therapy. We are licensed through Arkansas DBHS (Department of Behavioral Health Services), accredited through CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities), and are members of NAATP (National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers). Program Highlights THE CORE MODEL THERAPY APPROACH: The Core Model is an Integrated Systems Model that incorporates the best of Marriage and Family Therapy, Interpersonal Neurobiology, and Adventure Therapy with issue-driven specialty training in trauma and multiple addictions. CANINE THERAPY: Each client receives an AKC registered Labrador Retriever at admission. He feeds the puppy, cleans up after it, and spends part of each day training it. The relationship between client and puppy helps with healing intimacy and attachment issues. Additional benefits include learning empathy, responsibility, and self-efficacy. Upon graduation, the client takes his puppy home to be his recovery companion. EXERCISE PROGRAM: We incorporate an exercise program into every client's treatment. The primary therapeutic benefit of our exercise program is the healing and health of the brain, which is the organ we treat as counselors. ADVENTURE THERAPY: Our adventure program includes adventure therapy with our high and low ropes course and off-campus adventure activities like fishing, canoeing and kayaking, rock climbing, caving, and hiking. THE 12 STEPS: While at Capstone, clients experience and begin to work the Steps, read from the AA Big Book, and participate in 12-Step groups that are client led.
