I believe anyone can benefit from an open, thoughtful, neutral person to listen attentively to them. If you are seeking someone with the training and experience to listen carefully, to try to understand where you are in your life and to help you get to where you'd like to be, I'd be honored to be of assistance. My professional inclination is toward, brief, solution-based therapy. A counselor does need to understand your past, but I work on what is achievable in the future. I offer hope in despair. It is my job to challenge your thoughts and beliefs. I offer support in transitional times. I am trained to work with all ages on many different issues. I am especially interested in working with service members and their families. I also have a desire to work with the elderly and their caregivers. Both these communities have special needs and concerns with which I am familiar.
