I am a traditionally and holistically trained psychotherapist. My approach to therapy emphasizes practicality, client self-determination, and interactivity. Some examples include: setting therapeutic goals and meeting them, respect for client's needs and choices, and actively listening. I have many years of experience assisting clients with a variety of issues including: depression, anxiety, life transitions, family and relationship issues, illness, grief and loss, and trauma. Also, in my post-graduate training I have both completed attachment focused EMDR training with Laurel Parnell, as well as being certified as a Somatic Experience Practioner, a body-centered approach to trauma resolution. I support all people in their endeavors to find a happier, more complete sense of self. I look forward to meeting you.
