With over 15 years experience in this field, I thoroughly enjoy what I do. My goal is to help people learn tools they can use to increase their potential. I'm dedicated to helping individuals, couples and families restore balance and happiness to their lives/homes. Together we will uncover your inner strength and overcome things that prevent you from living the full, rich life you deserve. Discovering resources inside you is something we will do together, at your pace in a safe, supportive environment. Clients have said one thing they love about me is that they never feel judged. I employ a variety of techniques but am primarily Cognitive-Behavioral in approach (what you think effects what you feel and therefore do), but honor and utilize other approaches (mindfulness, Gestalt, Attachment). A favored treatment model is biofeedback, it teaches clients to self-regulate and improve their bodies and minds. I do not use a "cookie cutter" or "one size fits all" approach to counseling. You are, after all, UNIQUE. I pride myself on providing a laid back, relaxed environment. I should be welcoming and so should my office. When you are able to relax, treatment is most effective.
