Lynne Carroll

I am a licensed psychologist with several years of clinical experience. I have over twenty years of experience as a professor; training and supervising masters level practitioners in counseling and counseling psychology. As a life-long learner, I recently attained board certification in counseling psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology. As a counseling psychologist, I believe that social, cultural and family systems play a central role in determining clients' strengths as well as dysfunctions. I employ principles from theories which emphasize the role of early attachment experiences. However, I use a broad range of therapy techniques including cognitive-behavioral strategies depending upon clients' needs and current research evidence. I am interested in working with the elderly, LGBT persons, and adults experiencing depression and anxiety.
