My ideal clients value honesty, responsibility, respect, and personal growth. They are self-motivated and ready to make lasting changes in their lives for their own benefit. They understand that counseling is a process - a journey - and that they will get out of it what they put into it. They understand that it may be uncomfortable at times, and that things may temporarily get worse before they get better, but they understand the need to stay committed to their own healing and recovery because by doing so, they will find freedom from their hurts, habits, or hang-ups. I provide individual, marital, family, and faith-based counseling. I work with addictions, sexual issues, co-dependency, anxiety, anger, abuse, grief, depression, and 12-step programs. I have an affinity for helping people who struggle with addictions, including sexual addiction. I integrate temperament analysis into my work with clients, which I have found to be an incredibly effective, and foundational tool to the counseling process. I also understand and embrace the concept of holistic healing, which incorporates body, soul (mind, will, and emotions), and spirit.
