When you are distressed, it is helpful to talk with an experienced psychologist. I bring warmth and common sense to my work with you. I specialize in helping adults with many types of anxiety, phobias, worry, stress, or depression. In our first session, we will develop a holistic treatment plan specific to your needs and wishes. It may be brief treatment, a "tune up" or treatment may involve longstanding, deeper patterns of behavior that you are ready to address. Video conference sessions are also available. I am a proponent of research based treatments such as Cognitive-Behavior Therapy, yet I am in tune with spiritual issues and open to alternative health possiblities. As a former Physician Assistant, I have special expertise to help those who struggle with medical issues in themselves or family. I will speak with you personally when you call or email about an appointment. I offer video conferencing (similar to skype) sessions and these are covered by Medicare and other insurance under Georgia state law.
