Does your child throw tantrums or become aggressive when they are asked to do a task or when they are told "no"? Does your child self-injure or appear to engage in attention seeking behaviors? If so, I can help. I work with both children and adults, conducting in home behavioral consultations to address challenging behaviors as well as utilizing positive behavior supports to increase independence, socialization, and overall quality of life. I have received my Autism Specialist certification through the Kansas Center for Autism Research and Training. I provide individual and family counseling, Functional Behavior Assessements, behavioral interventions for home and school, skill level assessments and program planning, and work with children to improve their coping and social skills. I also provide individual therapy to children and adults for ADHD, depression, anxiety, family conflict, and adjustment difficulties. I provide my services to clients on Friday afternoons/early evening and Saturday mornings/early afternoon. Appointments can be made at Liberty Family Counseling in Kansas City, MO.
