I work with individuals, couples and families. My focus is to identify and develop ways to change current perceptions or behaviors which are no longer beneficial to you. I am goal-directed and collaborative for psychotherapeutic change. We work in concert together to find solutions to improve life and relationships. Solutions are based on what works best for you and not a preconceived notion of what I think. It is my belief that there is no such thing as a cookie-cutter solution to approaching life's challenges. Accordingly, I am not an expert but rather the facilitator. I hold a Masters in Teaching and in School Counseling that includes Marriage and Family coursework. I have spent 13 years working with children and families as an educator and school counselor. I am a UC Berkeley certified Mediator. I served as a CASA and a Marin Suicide Hotline counselor. You can expect me to be kind and sensitive, supportive and highly ethical. I am a strong advocate of hope and change. I am also available for WEEKEND appointments.
