I specialize in counseling young children, ages 2-12, that may be struggling with behavioral problems or mental health issues that are interfering with school success, positive peer and familial relationships, and positive self-esteem. I utilize an evidence-based intervention, child-centered play therapy, to help children access their own inner resources and strengths to gain increased self-understanding, self-control, and self-responsibility. I also work collaboratively with parents to improve the parent-child relationship and discover effective strategies for home. I have over 10 years of experience counseling children in school and clinical settings, as well as extensive consultation experience with parents and teachers.
