I work with adults, adolescents, children and couples who are struggling with emotional and/or cognitive issues which are interfering with their functioning and their happiness. Each client is unique so each person's treatment is tailored specifically for him/her. My first priority is to create a place and feeling of safety and comfort from which to explore and share - sometimes for the first time - your troubling or hurtful thoughts, emotions and experiences. My clinical education/training, together with who I am as a person, provide me with skills and compassion. I will help you access your inner wisdom with respect and focused intentionality. I listen with an open heart, and in partnership with you, I will assure you of an active voice. Areas in which I specialize are in the treatment of trauma, male and female empowerment, anxiety/depression, relationships, school refusal, and life transitions.
