I am passionate about building meaningful relationships with my clients as they heal and find freedom from past wounds, build deep connections and intimacy with others and discover their true gifts and talents. I enjoy working with women, couples and adolescents dealing with depression, anxiety and relationship issues with a special interest in helping women recover from sexual abuse and childhood traumas. In addition, I work with couples who are struggling in their relationship or desiring deeper intimacy. My counseling approach comes from a Christian perspective. However, I honor each clients unique story and spiritual journey. I believe counseling can be a life-changing experience where deep heart change occurs. I offer a warm and compassionate place for clients to talk about their pain and not just offer them a quick fix. I incorporate the creative arts and EMDR when helping clients heal from past trauma. Beyond the counseling room, I serve as Adjunct Faculty at Reformed Theological Seminary and travel around the country with New Life Ministries as a group therapist on counseling intensive weekends. Free consultations are available as well as speaking engagements on personality type, sexual abuse recovery, and other counseling-related topics.
