I am passionate about empowering clients to access their own strengths and resources in order to overcome the difficult challenges that life throws at us. I believe that relationships, and their complexities, impact every aspect of our lives. I value humor, compassion, empowerment, relationships and cultural sensitivity in my work. I have experience working with adolescents, adults, couples and families dealing with a wide range of concerns. I have work with clients on concerns such as: depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, parent/child conflict, stress, low self-esteem, emotional and behavioral issues and trauma. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I work collaboratively with clients to create a safe environment in order to create peace and balance on their journey. I place a strong emphasis on a healthy therapeutic connection to instill hope and empower on client's path to peace and healing. I value and respect client's stories and am an engaging therapist.
