My therapeutic approach utilizes creative based multi-model approaches that emphasize art and play to promote creative expression and strives to help clients both express and contain thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to convey by language alone. I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents who have experienced complex trauma. I utilize art combined with brain imaging techniques to provide cutting edge treatment. My research has been published in academic journals and showcased on a BBC documentary looking at the use of the arts with British military veterans.
