My passion is working with adolescents. These are very formative years and requires a certain amount of compassion, understanding and finesse. My 15 years as a middle school counselor has given me a lot of experience helping children to navigate through puberty, loss, ADHD, peer issues, independence, anxiety, depression, divorce, anger management, suicidal ideations, self esteem and behavioral issues. I enjoy helping children work through their problems as they prepare to transition to the next phase of their lives. My counseling sessions will be held in the afternoon hours to accommodate after school hours. I believe that finances should not stand in the way of mental health services. My rates are affordable and I am willing to work with families.
