I am board-certified child, adolescent and general adult psychiatrist in NW Portland. I treat individuals of all ages, from childhood through adulthood. Most of the folks I work with I see for psychotherapy and, if clinically indicated, medication management. My psychiatric practice utilizes primarily cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic approaches to help individuals with a wide array of mental health concerns or interpersonal issues. Having additional training with children and adolescents not only allows me to more effectively work with younger individuals and their families, but also enhances my work with adults as I am able to bring a deeper understanding for attachment, development and family systems to the therapeutic work.
