Living a healthy lifestyle is important for all of us. Sometimes unexpected life events, changes, and transitions can cause an imbalance in our lives. These changes can manifest in various forms such as anxiety, depression, grief, relationship problems among other disorders. With psychotherapy, these problems can be addressed in order to return to living a healthy and balanced lifestyle once again. Together we can identify the problem areas, set goals, and monitor progress to ensure good treatment outcomes. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I also enjoy working with different populations from diverse backgrounds including Middle Eastern and Muslim populations. I am fluent in speaking Dari/Farsi. I also provide clinical supervision. I have experience working with dually diagnosed adults, parenting issues, adolescents with severe emotional problems, victims of sexual abuse, and foster care issues. I provide in-home consultation for behavior disorders in children.
