I have been doing psychotherapy for over 40 years -- first, part time when I was Director of Training for a renowned Clinical Psychology Internship and then, full time since 1990. While I have years of experience to bring to the therapy hour, I also believe in the power of the present. I work with people through the life cycle of adulthood, from age 18 and beyond. I see people in individual therapy, group therapy and couples therapy, all with the goal of helping people to lead lives of joy and meaning. I have been described as a "Columbo kind of guy"; I am casual, yet always searching for clues to help people learn, feel less pain and grow.
