As your therapist I can help you with issues that are causing problems in your life. You may need help with your family, social or work relationships; with addictions, compulsions, depression, anxiety, or troubling thoughts. Counseling can help you adjust to life's transitions, such as grieving, aging, marriage, job loss or career change. Therapy can help if you are having difficulties managing your stress, chronic illness, medical problems or disabilities. Together we can explore your situation and plan ways to create change that can make your life more productive, meaningful and happy. You deserve to feel good about yourself and your life. In addition to being able to help with mental health issues, I have experience in academic counseling. I worked with high school and college students in academic preparation, planning, performance, and careers. I enjoy working with students discovering their strengths and challenges, mentally, physically and emotionally. I believe that my specialties match needs of the small communities close to my office. I really love working with all groups;but especially adolescents, young and older adults, military personnel and veterans. I also have advanced education in working with drug and alcohol use disorders, gambling, trauma, hoarding, and sexual concerns.
