Penrith Farms Young Adult Program At Penrith Farms young adults are free to explore their passions in an environment where mistakes are safe. We operate on a discovery and coaching model where students pick from a series of activities and determine their own schedules. Our staff guides young adults towards goals and obligations they establish for themselves. Our mission is to provide a meaningful environment for young adults to learn about the necessity of fulfilling obligations. We provide a home setting where early adult transition can transpire, virtues can be learned, and individuality can blossom. The emotional growth a young adult will experience at Penrith Farms prepares them for the rest of their lives. Penrith Farms is a life changing experience. Penrith Farms is a program for young adults 18 and over needing instruction and guidance in their lives. The Penrith Difference Penrith Farms will give young adults the confidence they need to succeed in society. Confidence come from the development of interpersonal communication skills and self-worth. Confident young adults will be better equipped to manage their own affairs become responsible members of global community. We utilize a positive peer culture where members are held accountable for their words and actions. Appropriate role modeling develops personal responsibility and essential leadership skills. Our work venues, music instruction, and horsemanship programs offer additional opportunities for students to cultivate emotional growth and effective communication skills. Penrith's Key Goals Our primary focus is education whether that is helping a student complete their High School Diploma, acquiring college credits, finding a vocational study or developing emotional maturity. At Penrith Farms we instill an ethic in our students and teach the meaningfulness of production. Timeliness, interpersonal interaction with superordinates and peers, and the value of completing work will be a few of the skills a young adult will develop. We teach the core virtues of Compassion, Diligence, Honesty, and Humility. These virtues are intertwined throughout the program in day to day interaction forming the basis for substantial and open interpersonal relationship with any individual.
