I enjoy working with addiction and anger management clients. I treat everyone with respect and dignity. I hold state and national credentials for treatment. I am on the Georgia State Registry as a DBHDD clinical evaluator and treatment provider for individuals requiring treatment to have their driver's license reinstated. I also work closely with mandated clients who have been court ordered to treatment and/or clinical evaluations by judges or probation. When clients are proactive by having their clinical evaluation and some treatment completed before going to trial, often this is favorable for the client in court. I have several years of experience as an addiction counselor for participants of Augusta Judicial Drug Court. I work with individuals pre-trial for drug and/or alcohol cases. This approach shows the client is being proactive, seeking a clinical evaluation/ counseling before their case is heard by a judge In cases for Pre-trial we prepare a clinical evaluation and report to be presented in court for the judge to consider the facts and circumstances that led the client to court. We strive to treat all clients with respect and dignity, while counseling them on the issues that matter to them.
