I and my calm, gentle therapy dog, Toby, enjoy working with adults, children, families, and couples, providing therapy for most mental and emotional health issues. These include depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder, grief counseling, parenting support, couples counseling and anger management. In a comfortable, supportive atmosphere, I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client's individual needs. We focus on your strengths, and use these to develop a plan for dealing with whatever is troubling you. I love listening to the story of your life, and together discovering how it might become even more rewarding for you. Trauma work: I have found that what troubles my clients today is often rooted in the past. Perhaps abuse, or a troubled family life, perhaps a broken relationship. We gently explore the trauma of these experiences, and see what we can do to make them less powerful in your life today. Life coaching happens when you and I develop a specific plan to help you achieve a particular life goal. This can be in such areas as relationships, careers, spirituality, aging, personal development, and recreational interest. Or, something else. Each plan is unique to the individual, developed with respect and caring.
