Are you struggling with parenting or other relationships in your life ? Do you feel stuck, like nothing ever changes or you don't feel any better? Nearly everyone goes through a time in their life when this happens. People seek therapy when their usual methods for coping are no longer effective. My role is not to judge you; my role is to work supportively with you to identify your strengths and resources. Together we will uncover strategies that enhance parenting skills, communication skills in all relationships and your personal wellness. My approach to therapy is strengths-based, informed by years of clinical work with individuals, adolescents and families. It integrates a variety of treatment modalities including CBT, mindfulness and DBT. My goal is to create a safe and warm environment in which you feel comfortable discussing and resolving your deepest concerns and family challenges. My office is centrally located near downtown Asheville with off street parking and can accommodate those needing early evening appointments.
