I strongly believe in the quote "the best way out is through." This is the essence of therapy. Often clients will contact me after realizing that what they have been trying to avoid or put off is only causing more suffering. This is the fork in the road. As a therapist, my role is providing clients the skills they need to face these challenges, for true growth and change. I love the work that I do because I have the privilege of witnessing these changes as they develop. I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, and I specialize in relationship counseling, as well as mood disorders. My background is cognitive-behavioral, but I tailor my approach to the specific needs of my clients. I'm very active in session and provide clients with feedback, support and education.
