I am a pre-licensed counselor in the State of Georgia and graduated from Georgia State University with my master's degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2015. I believe in providing a unique and welcoming environment for my clients, in which I strive to promote clients' healing by encouraging independence and providing safety within the therapeutic relationship. I am open to seeing clients of all ages, with primary interest in working with young children, pre-teens, and those whom have experienced trauma such as physical and sexual abuse. I have experience counseling children struggling with mood instability, aggression, sexualized behaviors, grief, trauma, social skills, and oppositional defiance. I strive to provide acceptance, empathy, and compassion for each client as I believe they need a space where they feel safe and encouraged to heal and reach their full potential. I utilize creative and expressive interventions to assist clients in identifying goals, exploring emotions, creating a personalized "toolbox" of skills, and finding their inner courage and capability.
